Notification No. 7980/TB-TPHCM dated September 17, 2025 issued by Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department regarding the extension of tax payment deadlines in 2025

In order to ease difficulties for taxpayers and support enterprises and individuals in promoting production and business activities, the Government issued Decree No. 81/2025/NĐ-CP dated April 02, 2025 on the extension of deadlines for payment of excise tax applicable to domestically manufactured or assembled automobiles, and Decree No. 82/2025/NĐ-CP dated April 02, 2025 on the extension of deadlines for payment of value-added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), personal income tax (PIT), and land rental fees in 2025.

On August 26, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department issued Notification No. 5735/TB-TPHCM to taxpayers regarding the promulgation of extended payment deadlines for excise tax, VAT, CIT, PIT, and land rental fees in 2025.

To assist taxpayers in fulfilling their tax payments obligations in accordance with the extended deadlines for excise tax, VAT, CIT, PIT, and land rental fees as provided under Decree No. 81/2025/NĐ-CP and Decree No. 82/2025/NĐ-CP.
