Notification No. 4508/TB-CCTKV15-DON dated June 30, 2025, issued by the Sub-Department of Taxation of Region 15 regarding the update of taxpayer address information in accordance with the new administrative boundaries and the directly managing tax authority, as follows:

  • Pursuant to Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 dated June 12, 2025, of the National Assembly on the rearrangement of provincial-level administrative units;
  • Pursuant to Resolution No. 76/2025/UBTVQH15 dated April 14, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the rearrangement of administrative units in 2025;
  • Pursuant to Resolution No. 1662/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units of Dong Nai province in 2025;
  • Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 4370/BTC-DNTN dated April 5, 2025, of the Ministry of Finance providing guidance on business registration in cases of administrative boundary changes;
  • Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 1689/CT-NVT dated June 10, 2025, of the Tax Department regarding the review and standardization of the taxpayer directory according to the two-level administrative boundaries;

Based on the above grounds:

  • The tax authority will automatically update the taxpayer’s address information in the tax database system in accordance with the new administrative boundary list (at the provincial and commune levels).
  • Taxpayers are not required to amend the address on their Certificate of Business Registration. This notification serves as a basis for taxpayers to explain discrepancies to relevant authorities or clients in case the address on invoices differs from that on the Certificate of Business Registration.
  • If a taxpayer wishes to update their Certificate of Business Registration, they may carry out the procedures as prescribed with the business registration authority.
