Official Letter No. 237/TB-CT dated May 14, 2025 of the Department of Taxation regarding the planned suspension of tax application systems due to data center relocation

The Tax Department has issued Official Letter No. 237/TB-CT dated May 14, 2025, announcing the plan to temporarily suspend the operation of certain tax-related application systems in order to relocate its main data center.
Accordingly, the Tax Department will be relocating its main Data Center (DC) to a new location from May 23, 2025, to June 15, 2025. During this period, several tax-related applications will be temporarily unavailable to facilitate the transition. Details are as follows:
- Migration schedule:
– System downtime for migration between the main DC and the backup DC environment:
+ E-Invoice System: Scheduled downtime of 4 hours from 00:00 to 04:00 on May 24, 2025 (Saturday) and 00:00 to 04:00 on June 14, 2025 (Saturday).
+ e-Tax Services and Transmission Hub: Scheduled downtime of 48 hours from 18:00 on May 23, 2025 (Friday) to 16:00 on May 25, 2025 (Sunday) and from 18:00 on June 13, 2025 (Friday) to 16:00 on June 15, 2025 (Sunday).
– Period during which systems will run at the backup DC (with approximately 70% performance compared to the main DC):
+ E-Invoice System: From 04:00 on May 24, 2025 (Saturday) to 00:00 on June 14, 2025 (Saturday).
+ e-Tax Services and Transmission Hub: From 16:00 on May 25, 2025 (Sunday) to 18:00 on June 13, 2025 (Friday).
– Expected resumption of normal operations at the main DC:
+ E-Invoice System: From 04:00 on June 14, 2025 (Saturday).
+ e-Tax Services and Transmission Hub: From 16:00 on June 15, 2025 (Sunday).

– E-Invoice System.
– e-Tax Services, including:
- e-Tax services for enterprises (eTax)
- e-Tax services for individuals (iCanhan)
- e-Tax Mobile App
- E-Commerce Portal
- Portal for Overseas Suppliers
- e-Tax services via the National Public Service Portal
- Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Finance
- Provincial-level Public Service Portals
