Official Letter No. 93/CT-TCCB dated 10/03/2025 of the Tax Department on the organization and personnel arrangements at Regional Tax Departments after restructuring

The Tax Department has issued Official Letter No. 93/CT-TCCB to provide guidance on the arrangement of deputy-level personnel, ensuring stability, succession, and a balanced number of leaders across units. The details are as follows:

(1) For merged areas:

• Deputy Heads of Departments of the former Tax Department in the merged areas may apply for reassignment to departments within the Regional Tax Department headquartered at the main office, in compliance with the prescribed principles.
• The remaining Deputy Heads of Departments will be assigned by the leadership of the Regional Tax Department to the Inter-district Tax Team, the Inspection and Audit Department, the Business Management and Support Department, or the One-stop Service Unit.

(2) For areas where the main office is located:

• The arrangement of Deputy Heads of Departments and Deputy Heads of Regional Tax Departments will continue to be implemented in accordance with the principles of Official Letter No. 06/CT-TCCB, ensuring a balanced number of leaders across units.

(3) As soon as the Tax Department issues appointment decisions for the Heads of Departments of the Regional Tax Department and the Heads of District Tax Teams, the personnel arrangement will take effect.
